How to install a new program safely

Open your web browser
Go to the official website of the program. For example, zoom.us for Zoom.

Click the 'Download' button
It is usually big and easy to spot.

Find the downloaded file
It will be in your 'Downloads' folder. Double-click it to open.

Follow the instructions on screen
Most programs ask you to click 'Next' a few times. Read carefully and click 'Install' when you see it.

All done!
The new program is now on your computer. Look for its icon on your desktop.
